Huge selection of all kinds of beer. The cherry beer is very tasty. The food is very good too. Any food can be recommended.

The burgers are amazing and the staff is super friendly. They do take away. Love the atmosphere!

So we just ordered something, for the first time. Every bite is worth the money. It's nothing everyday and the prices are OK. I highly recommend it. The burger I had was awesome. Keep up the good work, we'd love to come back. Thank you for the good food. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Cute little restaurant. Small and cozy. Medieval themed decor. Also has a small medieval shop and you can take a tour upstairs. They sell various types of beer and honey-wine that you can purchase by the case. We tried the burger and a flambeé, which is like a flatbread. Everything tasted great. Parking across the street. Would definitely go again.

I had two weddings there and was twice at the extensive medieval buffet. Great food, great premises and a wonderful staff make this restaurant something very special.

Since I live here now for 10 years in the area and have only now by chance learned from the tavern. Class atmosphere and very personable staff, if you can call it that. Delicious food and a very large beer selection. With the latter one can rely on the recommendations without having to "dig" through the entire assortment. Particularly impressive was the Knight's Hall and Aragorn's sword was just the icing on the cake. I highly recommend a visit. We had a very successful evening and will definitely come back. 😃

Update: We love this place so freakin much. They have a new burger. I can only describe it as, "Oh My God, YUM"* Pics added below, they don't do it justice! Love this place so freakin much. We can't get enough of it! The family who owns it are ridiculously nice people. The atmosphere is super quaint, neat, and fun! The life of the owner (the father) is super fascinating, I would love to learn more! But the food, OMG, the food, fabulous. They have the best burger, EVER. Homemade buns, sauces, fresh ingredients, the food is just delicious. They also have a huge selection of beer, like over 300 I believe!! We absolutely love this place and are kind of obsessed with their burgers!!

Absolutely amazing burgers, beer, and environment! It made me want to come back to Germany just to eat here again.

If you're into the Middle Ages, this is the place for you! We were here for the first time and were really warm and very well served! Our meal, an original burger, was also excellent. The owner of the medieval tavern even took us on a guided tour of the impressive and large tavern. The staff stayed even 2 hours longer although the opening time was far exceeded! We were all really impressed and thank you for the nice evening!

This is like stepping into the set of The Lord of the Rings. The atmosphere is perfect and the staff are all dressed the part and very kind. English is a little lacking but is made up for in hospitality.

Speaks English, always tasty . Can call in for take out. Samples of drinks on request. :)
